Thank you for your support and please have a read of the following information to ensure we’re on the same page.
Your use of my coaching services means that you accept and agree to the terms as listed below. If you do not accept and agree to the terms then do not use my coaching service.
- Payment Terms
- All payments are processed via Stripe. Coaching is billed as a recurring monthly subscription. Your payment method will be charged automatically. Your billing date will follow the schedule set at signup. If a payment fails, coaching may be paused until it is resolved.
- You can cancel your coaching subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect from the moment you pause your payment. If you’re unsure about continuing, just reach out so we can chat about it.
- Generally, refunds can be provided once a billing period has started and you will be offered a prorated refund. However, it is nice to be given a weeks notice you are pausing after a race or due to injury etc.
- Customer Support
- If you ever have an issue with any communication with me or the use of FinalSurge or Stripe then please email me as a first point of contact. This ensures there is a time stamp, a record of your issue and there is no ambiguity in what the issue is. I will endeavour to handle it within 24hrs, even if it’s just a ‘I’ve seen this and will respond later’, unless of course I have no phone reception or I’m in hospital or similar.
- In the event of those last two circumstances, please sit tight and I apologise in advance for Future Fraser.
- Privacy and Confidential Information
- I will be collecting, storing and handling your personal information in order to help coach you and at all times I will endeavour to store this in a secure way. The data I collect will be characterised by; contact information, training information, health/injury data and payment data. I will collect this through the use of Google Forms, FinalSurge and direct correspondence via email and telephone. This information is used to help generate training plans and coaching feedback as part of my services and is not used for anything else.
- I will not sell your information and will only pass it on to a third party (Stripe, FinalSurge) if I am given authorisation by you.
- As a coaching client of mine you have the right to access the personal data I hold of you, request corrections to any information, request I delete it and also withdraw consent for data use. If you need to do this, please contact me via email.
- All training plans and coaching materials are for your personal use only. Don’t share them, reproduce them or pass them on to others. Instead, pass those who are asking for advice onto me and I can give them their own advice!
- Third Party Services
- If I make any third-party recommendations including but not limited to third party products, programs or services, including FinalSurge (‘third party services’), it is because to the best of my knowledge, they are quality products or professional service providers.
- I will not be liable or responsible for your use of third-party services, or loss or damages you or any other person suffers due to the use of the third-party services.
- Services
- By purchasing a coaching subscription, you agree to the following:
- You are purchasing a personalised running coaching service delivered primarily through Final Surge, with communication via that platform and email. This includes: a structured training program, ongoing adjustments based on your feedback and data, regular communication (generally within 24 hours). It is not a 24/7 instant messaging service, but I’ll always aim to respond as promptly as possible.
- For coaching to work, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your training history, fitness, and any injuries
- Log your training consistently in Final Surge
- Communicate openly about fatigue, soreness, niggles, or anything that feels off and use your own judgement when completing sessions
- Continue to seek medical advice as you normally would
- I reserve the right to end the coaching relationship if payments are not made, the communication breaks down significantly or behaviour becomes inappropriate or disrespectful. In most cases, I’ll try to resolve things first, this is a last resort and something I haven’t needed yet!
- I’ll do everything I can to help you improve, but results are not guaranteed and performance depends on many factors.
- By purchasing a coaching subscription, you agree to the following:
- Injury Risk and Waiver
- Running has inherent risks. By working with me, you acknowledge that:
- You participate in training at your own risk
- I am not a medical professional, and my services do not constitute medical advice
- You should seek medical clearance if you have any concerns
- I am not liable for injuries, illness, or any adverse outcomes that occur during training.
- Injuries do happen, it’s part of running. If you get injured, you’re welcome to pause your coaching subscription. Just reach out via email and I’ll sort it. That said, it’s worth knowing that injury management and the return-to-run phase are some of the most important times to have a coach involved. This is often where good decisions make the biggest difference to how quickly and safely you get back to full training. So while pausing is always an option, in many cases it may be more beneficial to continue coaching in a modified way. I can adjust your program around rehab, cross-training, and a smart return-to-run plan.
- Running has inherent risks. By working with me, you acknowledge that:
- General
- These terms may be updated from time to time. If that happens, I’ll let you know. Continuing coaching means you accept any updates.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. It means you’re taking this seriously, which is a pretty good sign we’ll work well together. Now, go back to Stripe and tick the box if you agree with the above and we can get on with the condition. If you don’t agree, then please get in contact with me and we can have a discussion around what part you think is unreasonable.
